Has "clean toxins from the body" of Alternative Medicine received marketing help from the office Mikveh?

Yes I agree that this seems like a crazy connection – but I saw an article in promotion by Scientific American for a bond underwriting where a doctor who writes critically of the "alternative medicine" is written "products that clean toxins from the body" as a major myths and categories of junk science in recent years. The doctor said that between junk science "vulnerable" citizens of society, can be handled in part because they are familiar with the "cleansing" ritual of Judaism and Islam, etc. and qualified marketers can build on that concept and add junk science (to produce concepts never had the intention of the respective religions). Now, if the physician claims are true, then it would suggest studies have shown that a person who practices Mikveh is more likely to buy "clean the toxins from the body" products. But all studies suggest such a correlation? (It seems a little loopy, but I ……. maybe there such studies??)

I have never seen and this study would be very surprised if the correlation exusted. Why? Mikvah is the most characteristic of Orthodox women and to a lesser extent by people in the other movements. As such, the vast majority mikveh users observed the laws of kashrut. These "clean" Alternative Medicines are not kosher and certified by any authority and therefore Kashrut Orthodox anyone would use them-the only time we can use unkosher medicine is when it is for a real medical condition and in consultation with a rabbi. "Cleaning" products are not in the category of necessary or life-saving drugs! In addition, the "cleansing" that offers a mikvah is purely spiritual in nature. No credits to be physically healthy, or better, does not say that cleans anything physical, it is only religious in nature and therefore ay now correlates with the claims of these "clean" products
