What (free) site builder blogs or websites you recommend for my particular situation?

I know many people have already this question, but I'd like to know if the answers are different for my particular situation. I would like to develop a line of output to send I have written articles on a variety of subjects (science, medicine, astronomy, alternative news, politics, philosophy, etc). I've been on LiveJournal MySpace, Facebook, Yahoo 360, Xanga, and some others, but I do not want is a personal blog, I want to be a little more professional, and a little less socially oriented. I would also like to be annoying to a minimum, and visitors can comment without having to register. I know a lot of similar questions are answered with "Blogger". If this is your suggestion, which Blogger does better than other sites? Thoughtful suggestions appreciated! :)

One way to post proffesional their blogs would getting your own website with your name as (www.yournamehere.com) The best way to do this would be through WebStarts. You can build a proffesional website looking for ad-free with little or no knowledge of how to build a website. For a small annual fee you could make your website (www.yournamehere.com) or free of charge that can be (www.WebStarts.com / yournamehere) I recommend this company. Here is the link http://WebStarts.com
